Macro Examples and Mini-Apps
The following macros and mini-apps are included with Daqarta.
Most of them have macro IDs (shown in parentheses),
allowing them to be invoked as hot-keys by hitting the
F8 key, then the ID character.
You can open the Help topic for any included macro by selecting
it in the Macro List and clicking the Help button
below the list, next to Run. If you click the Edit
button to see the macro definition, you'll find a duplicate
Help button near the upper right. For those macros that open
a Custom Controls dialog when running, or display a
custom macro message or Custom Meter, you can usually
right-click on those to open the same Help topic.
Note that many of these macros, especially those with Custom
Controls, call other macros as subroutines. Most don't
appear in the list below, but are discussed under the topics
that invoke them. They have descriptive names that start with
an underscore; for example, _Engine_Ctrls is a subroutine
to handle the Custom Controls used by Engine_Sim, the
engine crank and cam sensor simulator.
Macros like _Color_Tint (listed below) are general-purpose
subroutines called by the Pulse Meter and
Multiple Meters, and can be used by your own macros as
well.
Due to the leading underscore, subroutines appear at the bottom
of the Macro List. Since they are normally not to be
activated directly by the user, this keeps them out of the
way.
