Sound Card Signal Generator Setup Title

Macro: GenTitle

Above the trace area is a long edit control that can hold a description or title of the Generator setup file. This shows '440 Hz Sine (default)' for the initial Setup.GEN default setup that is loaded automatically when you start Daqarta.

You can edit this text as desired, and it will be saved when you save the setup. The title text may be up to 64 characters long.

When you load a setup, the saved title will be shown here. The message line above this control will show the name of the setup file, but that line may be overwritten by subsequent status messages.

For setups that are included with Daqarta, right-clicking this control will open Help to the relevant topic. Setup.GEN and Default.GEN will open this topic, as will any custom setups that you create when you start from either of these. If you modify any other included setup (for example, THDmeter.GEN that is loaded automatically by the THD Meter Mini-App), the original topic link will be maintained.

Macro Notes:

Use GenTitle to set the Generator title via macro. This accepts string variables and expressions, so you can combine text and variable values to create the overall title, such as:

GenTitle="Beats: " + L.0.ToneFreq + " + " + L.1.ToneFreq"
