Burst Sine Modulator FrequencyMacro: BurstModFreq If you select Sine as the Burst Time Modulation Source, this control sets the modulator frequency. There is only one Sine source that is shared among all Burst modulators on any Stream, so changes in one dialog of that stream will change this value in the others. Although any modulators that use the Sine source will have the same frequency and phase, you can use other frequencies (or waveforms) via Stream Modulation. The frequency resolution of this and all Generator frequency displays may be set between 0 and 9 decimal places via the Frequency Places option in the Frequency Step Mode dialog, invoked by clicking the button below this. (The button shows the current Step Mode, which defaults to Step Direct.) Macro Notes: Use Lag., Rise., High., Fall., Cycle., Count., or Train. prefixes in addition to channel and stream prefixes to specify the modulator for the BurstModFreq command. For example, L.1.Lag.BurstModFreq=10 will set Left Stream 1 Burst Lag Modulator Frequency to 10 hertz. BurstModFreq=>1 will increment or BurstModFreq=>-1 will decrement the current Modulator Frequency by 1 Frequency Step. Only +/-1 step is allowed per command, but the step size and type can be controlled via the Frequency Step dialog. Note: The Frequency Step setting affects the behavior of most Generator frequency controls. See also Modulating Burst Values, Burst Dialog, Waveform Stream Controls. |
