Save Settings Controls: Edit Menu >> Start Preferences >> Save Settings
This box is checked by default to indicate that current Daqarta settings (including these Start Preferences) should be saved after each session, and used next time. If you uncheck it, then the current settings will not be saved, and the next session will start with whatever settings were previously saved. This can be useful to insure a consistent starting point in production situations that may require setting changes during operation. When you uncheck the box, all the options in this dialog (above this one) will be grayed out and can't be changed until you check it again. Those options only take effect on startup. Note that settings will always be saved after any session where this box has been toggled; unchecking the box to prevent future changes requires that settings be saved with this option unchecked. So, if you wish to create a standard starting point, just set everything the way you want it and uncheck this box before you exit Daqarta. All future sessions will start with those settings as long as the box is unchecked. NOTE: This control is disabled and can not be unchecked until after the free trial period expires, unless a paid license key is present. Macro Notes: Attempting to change a disabled control via macro will result in an error message, and the macro will be aborted. See also Start Preferences Dialog |
