Voice Level (Volume)

Controls: Sgram/PT Dialog >> Pitch-to-MIDI >> Setup
Changes: Lv=n
Macros: MIDIlev1-8

There are Level (volume) controls for each voice in the Pitch-to-MIDI dialog, and also in each individual Voice Setup dialog.

These controls are for adjusting the relative balance of instrument voices within a performance. Use the MIDI Volume or Master Volume controls to adjust the overall volume.

Levels may be set to values between 0 and 127; the default is 64.

MIDI Changes Script:

Use Lv=n to set the Level for Voice v to the value of n, which may be any unsigned integer or expression, including current MIDI control values, random values, current computer keyboard states or mouse position, input or buffered notes, or oscillators. It will be limited to the range of 0 to 127.

For example, L2=64 sets the Level for Voice 2 to 64.

You can use "voice" 9 to set all 8 voices to the same Level value at once.

Macro Notes:

MIDIlev2=64 sets the Level for Voice 2 to 64. MIDIlev2=>1 increments the current Level by one, while MIDIlev2=>-1 decrements it.

However, Changes scripts are recommended for this purpose.
