Daqarta v5.10.3 - 21 March 2010

Bug Fix: Files holding attenuator and Full-Scale Range calibration data (.ATN), External Gain (.EGN), and User Units (.USR) failed to load on startup.

Bug Fix: Auto-Calibration of Duplex Delay failed for stereo Out case on many sound cards. Also, status message during Duplex Delay calibration reversed In and Out channel counts (showed '2 Out, I In' instead of '1 Out, 2 In', for example).

Bug Fix: If a new Waveform Average was started from Pause mode (such as after a prior average), automatic unPause did not assure proper waveform sync for the first frame of the average when using Gen Sync Trigger mode. Could result in distortion or reduced amplitude of the final average at low Frames Requests.

Daqarta v5.10.2 - 16 March 2010

New MIDI Voice Pattern Copy / Paste button allows copy or paste of all 3 patterns at once: Velocity, Note, and Chord.

Bug Fix: Auto-Increment Filenames did not work when saving traces as .DQA, .WAV, .DAT, or .TXT files derived from a currently open file.

Bug Fix: On some Win95 systems, Install Daqarta License Key could cause program crash (although key installs and works on restart).

Daqarta v5.10.1 - 5 March 2010

Added Tilt-3dB.CRV and Tilt-6dB.CRV standard Spectrum Curves, to allow DaqMusiq with default White noise source (Generator and Input off) to provide Pink or "brown" responses, respectively.

Bug Fix: Pitch Track display stack problem with sub-Threshold signal caused stalled motion, eventual corruption of program.

Bug Fix: Spectrum Track problem in Y-log display mode caused cursor line position error, although readout was correct. Also caused Pitch Track problems with Y-log active when multiple peaks were present.

Bug Fix: When Pitch Track Line Width was set to Wide, trace color did not track signal magnitude.

Bug Fix: Certain sequences of control toggles could cause the Pitch Track display to freeze.

Daqarta v5.10 - 27 February 2010:

Fcal Dialog added to Frequency Counter, allows input frequency to be converted to arbitrary user units via either simple two-point linear or table-based nonlinear calibration. Calibration Tables included for all standard thermocouple types. Supports easy creation of custom tables for other sensors. Circuit diagrams and board layouts supplied for bipolar input voltages, temperature sensor or unipolar voltages, and thermocouples, plus a frequency prescaler to alllow measurement of high frequencies (MHz).

Printed Circuit Construction topic added to Help, featuring Direct-Draw method for simple boards.

Pitch-to-MIDI (including DaqMusiq and KaleidoSynth) can now run with either Pitch Track or normal Spectrogram display.

If the Windows Screen Saver option in Run Preferences is unchecked (default), it now additionally prevents Windows from blanking the screen or suspending operation due to inactivity, but only when sound input or output is active.

New Save Notes Text option in Run Preferences dialog allows control over whether each session starts with cleared Notes field, or retains prior Notes.

New Install Daqarta License Key system accepts direct copy/paste from Email.

Desktop icon for Daqarta may now be changed to transparent background instead of black starfield.

Bug Fix: Sound cards without an input device (or with the input device disabled by Windows) caused Daqarta to abort at startup. It now starts normally and shows Input disabled, but still allows Generator, etc.

Bug Fix: Track Fundamental mode could occasionally produce a program crash when tracking random inputs, such as during DaqMusiq operation.

Bug Fix: Help index did not include v5.00 additions. (Only modern CHM Help affected... legacy WinHelp was OK.)

Bug Fix: Active Help window did not move to background when clicking on main Daqarta window.

Bug Fix: Toggling Juxt trace display on or off from a live trace caused cursor readout channel change.

Bug Fix: Toggling Pitch Track now clears display, was keeping remnants of prior mode on screen.
