Juxt Array On/Off

Controls: File Menu >> Juxt Dialog >> Array
Macro: JuxtAr

When this button is depressed, multiple traces in the Juxt Array memory are shown on-screen at the same time. A single Selected trace (typically brighter than the rest, as set by the Highlight control) is read by the cursor readouts. Notes, Labels, Fields, Averager settings and total Frames, Trigger settings, and Sample Rate all reflect that trace.

The Selected trace Label is shown on the button below the Array button. The trace selection may be changed by scrolling the arrows next to it, or by left-clicking on the desired trace. If you choose a different Label field for the traces, and Sort is active, the Selected trace may change.

All traces that are compatible with the Selected trace are shown. Compatible means that they must use the same types of X and Y axes; for example, a Histogram trace won't be shown if the Selected trace is a waveform or spectrum. Spectrum traces won't be shown together with waveforms; they will all be shown the same way, according to the current Spectrum button state.

Waveform averages can be shown together with instantaneous waveform traces. If Spectrum is toggled on, Daqarta shows the spectrum of each. However, Spectrum averages can not be converted back to waveforms, so they are not compatible with averaged or instantaneous waveform traces.

The Spacing between traces and the Offset of the entire array on the screen are adjustable. Use PgDn to reduce the display magnification if trace overlap makes them hard to distinguish, or temporarily Hide some traces.

Note that when displaying an array of waveform traces that have differing Trigger Delays, the time axis will be shown for the Selected trace. Traces with different delays will not be aligned properly.

Note also that when an array is being displayed, active data display is automatically suspended via the Pause button. You must toggle Array off before you can unPause to return to active data display.
