Macro List

Controls: Options Menu >> Macro Dialog >> Macro List

This list box contains all the macros currently loaded. (See Macro Examples and Mini-Apps for those included in the default Daqarta installation.) If there are many macros, you may need to scroll down to see them all.

In general, you can run any macro by double-clicking it. A single click will cause that macro to be selected into the ID box below the list, but will not run it unless you hit the Run button or press the Enter key.

The list is sorted by ID such that digits appear first, then letters, then punctuation. Note that letters are case-sensitive.

At the end of the list are macros without IDs, sorted by Name. These macros can't be invoked as hot-keys, but can be used as building blocks to construct more-complex macros. They can also be invoked individually by double-clicking the list entry. Note, however, that many of these are only intended for use by other macros, not to be run on their own.

Accessibility: Although the List is at the top of the Macro Dialog, it is not included in the default Tab order. To move the keyboard focus to the List, hit SHIFT+Tab from the ID field (the default when the dialog opens). The keyboard focus will move to the currently-selected macro in the List. You can use the Up and Down arrow keys to move the selection. Hitting Enter will run the selected macro. To open the Edit dialog from the List, hit Tab 5 times and hit Enter. (The tab motion from List is ID, Run, Step, New, Edit... Halt and Cancel are disabled when no macro is running.)
