Ramp Stairs

Controls: Gen Dlg >> Stream >> Wave >> Ramp >> Stairs
Macro: RampStairs

When this is set to a non-zero value, the simple continuous ramp is converted to a staircase with the specified number of steps, plus a baseline or 0th step, for each slope.

For a 16-bit system, there are a total of 65535 steps possible.


Macro Notes:

Use channel and stream prefixes to set a specific Ramp Stairs. L.1.RampStairs=10 sets Left Stream 1 Ramp Stairs to 10, independent of the current dialog state.

Alternatively, you can use Channel Select variable Ch to specify the channel and stream via Ch.RampStairs=10, where Ch has previously been set to 0-3 (for L.0. to L.3.) or 4-7 (for R.0. to R.3).
