Open Recent Data File Controls: File Menu >> Open Recent
This is a list of the last 10 unique files Daqarta has opened or saved, in order with the most recent at the top. Click on a file (or hit its list number) to open it. The list includes all .DQA, .WAV, and .DAT file types, but not .TXT or other file types that Daqarta doesn't open as normal data. This list is saved between sessions. If you want to open a file you have recently saved or opened with another program, use the normal Open option and then click on the small down arrow at the right end of the File Name control near the bottom of the Open dialog. This will show a list of all files recently accessed by Windows, regardless of program, which have the selected extension(s) shown in the file type drop-down control. (Note that this option is not present on older versions of Windows that do not have IE5 or later.) Macro Notes: To open the most recent file (at the top of the Recent list), use Recent=0. You can use Recent=1 to open the next-most recent, etc. Note, however, that opening a file moves it to the top of the list and moves the other files down to make room, so the numbers will change when you use anything other than Recent=0. Instead of immediate values 0-9, you can use variables or expressions for setting, reading, or IF testing. See also File Menu, Open Existing Data File |
