Macro Edit Copy

Controls: Options >> Macro Dialog >> Edit >> Copy

Clicking this button will copy the entire Macro Definition text to the Windows Clipboard. This is the same as selecting all the text by clicking and dragging with the mouse, then hitting CTRL+C.

Once copied to the clipboard you may then paste it elsewhere using the normal CTRL+V.

This button is handy when you want to create a new macro that is similar to a long existing macro, which might otherwise involve scrolling down multiple pages to select all the text. Just copy the existing macro with the Copy button, exit the Edit dialog (Cancel button or [x]), click New, click in the Definition window, and hit CTRL+V. Then you can edit the new macro as desired.

You can also use this to copy a macro to Windows Notepad or another text editor, or to an Email program.
