Macro: Tab

When you are editing text in Notes, a Macro Definition, or a MIDI Changes script, you can use CTRL+Tab to move the cursor to the next tab column. This Editor Tab Spaces control allows you to set the spacing between columns.

This is handy for indenting to fixed columns, which is especially helpful for showing macro structures such as IF and WHILE.

The control range is from 1 to 4; the default is 2. The value is saved for future Daqarta sessions.

When editing Notes text the tabs are stored as tab characters, which means that when you change this control any tabs in existing Notes text will change to match. This is not the case for Macro Definitions or MIDI Changes scripts, which convert the tabs to spaces for storage.
