Ramp / Staircase Wave Dialog

Controls: Gen Dlg >> Stream >> Wave >> Ramp
Macro: Wave=Ramp

The button opens a separate dialog. As with the triangle, this is a bipolar wave, but it can be converted to all positive or negative by setting Level to 50% and DC Offset to +50% or -50%, respectively.

Macro Notes:

Wave=Ramp or Wave=2 sets the waveform of the current channel and stream to Ramp. Use prefixes like L.1.Wave=Ramp to specify channel and stream, here Left Stream 1. Note that this command format sets Wave but does not open the Ramp dialog. This is the usual approach for modifying Generator setups.

Alternatively, you can use Channel Select variable Ch to specify the channel and stream via Ch.Wave=Ramp, where Ch has previously been set to 0-3 (for L.0. to L.3.) or 4-7 (for R.0. to R.3).

To set Wave to Ramp and also open the Ramp dialog (if the Wave dialog is already open), use a D. prefix as in D.L.1.Wave=Ramp.
