File Info - Sample RateControls: File Menu >> File Info >> Sample Rate When a data file is opened for viewing (via Open Existing or Open Recent), the sample rate originally used to create the file (or any rate you specify for a .DAT file) is used by Daqarta to display the X axis and cursor readouts. It is shown in the X-Axis Dialog, and also shown here as part of the File Info summary. It can also be read via the SmplRate macro, just as for a "live" rate. However, if the most-recently loaded file was an Arb or Play file for the Daqarta Generator, the File Info summary is the only place you can see what the original file sample rate was. You could compute it for a Play file based on the Play Rate with the Rate Absolute setting and knowing the current sample rate, but the File Info summary is simpler. And for an Arb file, there really is no other way. See also File Menu, Open Existing Data File, File Info Dialog |
