Trial Period And Beyond

You may evaluate Daqarta freely for 30 sessions or 30 days, whichever comes first. During that time all features are enabled. Afterward, the Input and Auto-Calibration features are unavailable unless you purchase Daqarta and install the license key file. (Juxt trace memory arrays, macro file saves, Remote Control, and Spectrum Limits testing require a Professional license.)

What if you don't really need those other features? You can still use the Generator and all the file analysis options, but you won't be able to look at input signals or perform an auto-calibration. You are welcome to use Daqarta this way as long as you like.

However, to maximize the usefulness of Daqarta if you choose not to purchase it, it is important to perform a calibration during the trial period. That way, you will still be able to use the calibrated dB output controls. You could always calibrate them manually later, but it's much easier to do it with Auto-Calibration while you have the opportunity.

Also, be sure to do the Full-Scale Range calibration if you want the Generator output display and cursor readouts to read in true volts. You can still change the output range values after the trials expire, but then you'll need some independent way to determine them, such as with a sensitive (expensive) AC voltmeter.

The number of trial sessions remaining (including the current one) is shown in the About Daqarta selection of the Help menu. After you purchase Daqarta, this changes to show your license ID.
