Percussion Level (Volume) Controls: Sgram/PT Dialog >> Pitch-to-MIDI >> Percussion Setup
The Percussion Level (volume) control appears at the top of the Percussion Setup dialog, and also near the bottom of the main Pitch-to-MIDI dialog. This control adjusts the overall balance of the total Percussion sound relative to individual tonal instrument Voice Levels within a performance. Levels may be set to values between 0 and 127; the default is 64. Use the separate Percussion Velocity controls to set the relative volumes of individual Percussion Instrument sounds. Use the MIDI Volume or Master Volume controls to adjust the overall performance volume. LP=n sets Percussion Level to the value of n, which may be any unsigned integer or expression, including current MIDI control values, random values, current computer keyboard states or mouse position, input or buffered notes, oscillators, and User Variables. It will be limited to the range of 0 to 127. For example, LP=64 sets the Percussion Level to 64. Macro Notes: MIDIlevP=64 sets the Percussion Level to 64. MIDIlevP=>1 increments the current Percussion Level by one, while MIDIlevP=>-1 decrements it. However, Changes scripts are recommended for this purpose.
