Sweep End Frequency

Macro: SweepEnd

Sets the sweep ending frequency. This control behaves just like the Start control in its use of the Frequency Entry Mode control. If End is lower than Start the sweep direction will proceed downward.

See Ratios and Octaves if you want to set Start and End such that they define an octave or fractional octave about a specified center frequency.

The resolution of this and all Generator frequency displays may be set between 0 and 9 decimal places via the Frequency Places option in the Frequency Step Mode dialog, invoked by clicking the button below the Start Frequency control. (The button shows the current Step Mode, which defaults to Step Direct.)

Macro Notes:

L.1.SweepEnd=10k sets Left Stream 1 Sweep End Frequency to 10000 hertz.

L.1.SweepEnd=>1 increments the frequency to the next higher Frequency Entry Step, while L.1.SweepEnd=>-1 decrements to the next lower step. Only +/-1 step is accepted, but the step size and type can be controlled via the Frequency Step dialog. Note: The Frequency Step setting affects the behavior of almost all Generator frequency controls.
