The Phase_Meter macro mini-app now has greatly enhanced test options, allowing phase modulation with standard Sine, Triangle, Ramp (or Staircase), Square, or Pulse wave shapes. Or use custom Arb waveforms, or Play complete long-duration programs. You can use White, Gauss, or Pink noise, or set your own noise Band limits or shape. You can even "modulate the modulation" to have phase Bursts, AM, FM, Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) of Pulse waveforms, or phase that Sweeps up or down in frequency. THD_Meter and THD_Meter_LF macro mini-apps now have improved status reports for input signals too soft or out of frequency tracking range, and for signals with more than 100% THD. Engine_Sim macro mini-app now defaults to allowing up to 360 teeth maximum instead of 142. The Base Teeth and Gap/Extra Teeth Help sub-topic explains how to change this limit, plus the fact that the more teeth, the lower the maximum useful RPM. The Channel Select Macro Ch Help topic now explains that the internal value is masked to the 0-7 range, so you can't use a WHILE.Ch=<8 loop to set all 0-7 Streams of the Generator, for example, or it will loop forever. Example shows how to do it with separate variable. Bug Fix: Generator downward frequency sweeps (End frequency lower than Start) with narrow range (such as 5 Hz to 1 Hz, or 50 to 45, or 440 to 400), over long duration (such as Length = 10 seconds) went the wrong way. Bug Fix: THD_Meter_LF macro showed "No Signal" with External input selected. Bug Fix: Above THD_Meter_LF frequency range was only 2-100 Hz instead of 20-1000 Hz. Bug Fix: Phantom_Signals macro mini-app now sets TrigMode=Auto at start, was failing when left at GenSync from prior run. |
